Alex Sistemi laboratories are custom-engineered enclosures dimensioned to project requirements and built to deliver reliable operation in hazardous industrial environments, onshore and offshore.
Overview
Prefabricated laboratories serve demanding industrial sectors including Oil & Gas, power generation, petrochemical, chemical and marine, wherever process samples must be analysed close to the plant in a protected, controlled environment. Each laboratory is built in carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium to ensure structural integrity under severe environmental and operating conditions, and is engineered, manufactured and tested in-house.
Configurations
Overall dimensions, internal layout and finishes are defined by the project. Standard-compliant construction covers fire-rated and blast-resistant solutions, integrated fire-fighting and gas-detection systems, and suitability for ATEX / IECEx classified areas. Laboratories can be supplied as single modules or as part of a larger technical building together with E-House rooms.

What is included
Laboratories are delivered complete: structure, insulation and fire-rated partitions where required; HVAC and ventilation; electrical distribution and lighting; fire-fighting and gas-detection systems; furniture and equipment supports to the client’s layout. Tubing and sample lines are executed in-house with precision and cleanliness, in dedicated areas for integration, inspection and testing.
Testing and compliance
Every laboratory undergoes dimensional control, painting and coating tests, electrical tests (continuity, rigidity, earthing, insulation), functional equipment tests, rain test, load and drop tests, pressure and leak tests, weld inspection (PT, MT, UT) and thermal testing from −35 °C to +70 °C. Fabrication is carried out under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 3834-2:2021, EN 1090, CSA W47.1, A660 Canadian Standard and ISO 45001:2018. See our quality and certifications page.
