Mobile command units are advanced systems for operational command, control and coordination in military and emergency contexts. Built on fully equipped shelters, they integrate operator stations, communication systems, data management and a reliable technological infrastructure for C4ISR missions.
Overview
A command unit must be operational within hours of arrival, in any environment, and must keep working through the mission. Alex Sistemi designs each unit around the operational layout defined by the customer, on an ISO 10′, 20′ or 40′ shelter base in fixed or expandable configuration, with transport optimised for land, sea and air. Designed for rapid deployment and immediate operability, the units ensure high standards of safety, ergonomics and service continuity even in extreme environments.

Integration
Full system integration is what makes the unit effective in the field: operator stations and consoles, communication systems (including PAGA, VHF radio and CCTV where required), data management infrastructure, electrical distribution, HVAC and NBC filtration and pressurisation are installed, cabled and tested in the factory. The result supports efficient field operations across C4ISR missions and strategic activities.
Protection and environments
Units are built in carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium and qualified for desert, marine and land environments, with EMI shielding, NBC systems, water-tight and dust-tight sealing and resistance to severe operating conditions. Qualification covers extreme temperatures, transport and vibration, structural and environmental loads, with thermal transfer, operational temperature and immersion capability tests passed.
Testing and compliance
Factory testing includes dimensional control, painting and coating, electrical tests (continuity, rigidity, earthing, insulation), functional equipment tests, rain test, load and drop tests, pressure and leak tests, weld inspection (PT, MT, UT) and thermal testing from −35 °C to +70 °C. Design complies with MIL-STD 907, 810, 461/462, 285, 1472 and 889, ASTM 1925-99, NATO S-250 / S-280 / S-788, NATO I/II – ACE I/II/III, AQAP 2110 and TULPS; Alex Sistemi is registered with NCAGE code AH797.
